The ROBERTS 8 in laminate and vinyl plank cutter is a flat blade tool designed to cut through laminate and vinyl plank flooring. Crafted of heavy-duty steel, this cutter is durable, yet lightweight for swift transportation from room to room. The zinc plated carbon steel blade features a blunt, non-sharp cutting edge that cuts with pressure using a push of the handle. The cutter prevents laminate from splitting, will not produce dust and may be safely used indoors without compromising air quality. This saves installers the time it takes to walk outside for every cut. This cutter pressure cuts laminate flooring up to 8 in wide and 10 mm thick and pressure cuts vinyl planks up to 8 in W and 4 mm THK. All cut edges should be placed against the wall and under a baseboard.
