The plug taps square shank is compatible with all standard tap handles or tap wrenches and is designed for through-hole threading. Engineered for durability, our Milwaukee® straight flute plug taps are designed for cutting threads in the most common metal applications including brass, aluminum, mild steel and more. The accompanying drill bit is designed for use with drill drivers. For better results, use plug taps with cutting fluid.
