Milwaukee 49-22-5600 Tap and Die Set, 17-Piece, HCS, Black Oxide

Our Milwaukee® 17-piece metric tap and die set-includes precision-machined threading accessories and threading handles for the most common applications. The taps and dies feature long-lasting laser-etched sizing for the clearest markings and include a protective black oxide coating for corrosion resistance. The Plug Taps square shank is compatible with all standard tap handles or tap wrenches and is designed for through-hole threading. The hex dies 1 in hex shape is compatible with the Milwaukee® Hex-LOK™ two-in-one-handle (sold separately), as well as all standard 1 in hex die stocks. The set-includes accompanying drill bits for pilot drilling and is designed for use with drill drivers. Our Taps and Dies are designed for cutting threads in the most common metal applications including brass, aluminum, mild steel and more. For top results, use with cutting fluid.
