The Max Life 9903HP tungsten carbide carving bit is coated in titanium nitride and is engineered to last 1.5X longer than the standard, non-coated Dremel 9903 bit. For use with all Dremel high-speed rotary tools, the 1/8 in (3.2 mm) accessory can be used for more aggressive applications to shape, smooth or grind hard materials such as metals, hardened steel, fire ceramics, cast iron, plastics and hardwoods. The carving bit works well for projects like metal or glass engraving, stone carving or removing flash from castings. The ball nose shape of the carving bit can be used for deep removal or to hollow out material. Use the sides to cut flat areas or round edges. The tip makes round-bottom slots and grooves and can be used for rounded side cuts. One rotary accessory included.
