Hercules® GRRIP® is an all purpose, non-petroleum, hydrocarbon based pipe joint and gasket seal for use on all metals and on PVC, ABS, CPVC plastics. GRRIP™ sets up quickly and dries to form a very tough, yet flexible seal which will not harden, crack, crumble or shrink. Provides leakproof resistance to high pressure, temperature, expansion, contraction and extreme vibration. Joints can be disassembled easily, without damage to pipe or equipment. GRRIP™ can be removed from skin or clothing, tools or equipment with isopropyl alcohol or Hercules For Hands™ hand cleaners. GRRIP™ is applied easily with the natural bristle brush even at temperatures as low as +20 deg F and performs over a temperature range of -90 to 450 deg F. It provides leakproof hydraulic resistance to 12,000 psi and withstands gas pressure 2600 psi. GRRIP™ is a black colored thread sealant which contains no lead.
