Close-grained cast iron body and base, specially treated for corrosion resistance. Provides strong performance with good pressure for wells to 25 ft deep. Self-priming after the priming chamber has been filled with water. Drain port provided for easy winterizing. Pump primes faster and handles more air with a multi-port, precision-molded, reinforced polypropylene diffuser. Motor windings feature insulation materials that protect against excessive moisture and contaminants. Heavy-duty ball bearings are sealed, permanently lubricated and tested to ensure extended life and smooth quiet operation. Built-in jet features a high strength poly-carbonate nozzle and venturi for maximum resistance to corrosion and abrasion. Clean out plug provided for ease of service. Noryl® impeller is precision molded for ideal balance and is ultra-smooth for highest performance and efficiency. Mechanical shaft seal is precision lapped and made of highly polished carbon-ceramic, stainless steel construction, with an internal design for continuous water lubrication. Balanced rotor is die-cast under high pressures for uniform performance and greater efficiency. Pump and motor shaft are stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, with a one-piece threaded shaft for positive drive and alignment. Includes a dustproof cover to protect all electrical components from dirt, dusts and insects. Pressure switch with adjustable cut-in and fixed differential (20 psi). 115/230 V.
