Homewerks Transition CPVC Union (M.I.P.)

Used to transition from metal Female pipe threads to CPVC. This special fitting is designed to compensate for the difference in coefficients of expansion which exists between CPVC and metal pipe in hot water applications. Solvent welds directly to CPVC tube and adapts to standard Female pipe threads. Permits easy disassembly of piping system. Manufactured to include no more than 0.25% weighted average lead content on wetted surfaces. Bulk, 20 per box.
