ZAR Water-Based Exterior Polyurethane Clear, 1 Gal.

Water-based polyurethane is a rich amber colored environmentally safe, clear wood finish, specially formulated to protect and beautify outdoor wood. Weatherproofs, protects, and beautifies exterior wood surfaces exposed to direct sunlight. Contains ultraviolet radiation absorbers and antioxidants. Zar full-bodied formula brushes on like a conventional polyurethane for maximum durability and beauty. Ideal for wooden marine surfaces (above waterline), exterior doors, including fiberglass and steel doors, natural wood siding, patio furniture, fences, gables, and other wood surfaces exposed to the harsh extremes of weather. Do Not uses on decks or other areas subject to foot traffic. Remove wax from all surfaces. Remove lacquer, shellac, or paint from poor condition surfaces. Do not use steel wool. Do not shake polyurethanes. Apply with a bristle brush or synthetic brush. Do not use a roller. Dries to touch in 30 minutes. If wood is to be stained, apply a quality oil-based or water-based stain then topcoat with polyurethane. Covers approximately 125 to 150 sq. ft. per quart. Clean brushes and tools with soap and water.
