C/D grade indicates that the face has knots and defects filled in while the reverse side may have some that aren’t filled in. Neither side has been sanded smooth or appearance grade.
Incorporates both the specifications of a sub-floor and that of underlayment in a single product. The smooth, sanded surface allows for floor coverings to be installed directly onto the sub-flooring. The tongue and groove design allows for easy installation. Performs better than OSB in occasional wettings due to appliance failures and high impact and substantial loads.

OSB stands for Oriented Strand Board. It is an engineered material that is great for load-bearing applications. An alternative to plywood, it is constructed to prevent warping and splitting. Commonly used in sheathing on walls, floors, and roof decking.
